Master Lock No. 7The Master Lock No. 7 is a low-security padlock made by Master Lock.
Locking Mechanism and Keyway
The Master Lock No. 5 uses a pin-tumbler mechanism. This lock uses the W7 cylinder, which contains 4 standard pins. The No. 5 typically utilizes the M2 key profile, but not always. The standard model can be opened in either the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction, but the commercial series restricts the key to clock-wise rotation. Standard non-commercial models contain "1D" in the name instead of "1". The lock is not key retaining. The shackle is locked at both the toe and heel.

Vulnerabilites
The No. 7 is vulnerable to many attacks. It's poor manufacturing tolerances and low pin number make it's very easy to pick.
